The theory of social discourse developed by researcher Marc Angenot out amongst its principles the consideration of the "discursive hegemony", understood as a set of unifying and regulatory mechanisms that organize the discourse of a given time. Thus, the discursive hegemony establishes the limits of the speakable and thinkable in certain socio-historical coordinates. In this context the social discourse is understood as all that is said and written in a given society; as a social practice that accompanies, legitimates, gives meaning to all the facts that arise. This theoretical approach allows us to interpret the poetry of Solon as a sign of a period of deep political-social conflicts and as a discourse for understanding the facts under the light of the global symbolic interaction. According to Angenot, all speech is an activity of interaction of subjects and is associated with specific social needs and expectations. Times of crisis allow the appearance of these expressions in an extreme way. The aim of this work is to identify in the poetry of Solon these unifying elements that retrieve both the coherences and dissents circulating in what Angenot has called "that vast social rumor".
